Tania is a member of the Malaysian Bar, New York Bar and the New South Wales Law Society, Australia. Tania studied at Bond University, Australia earning a Bachelor of Laws. Tania also studied at Fordham University, New York graduating cum laude with a Master of Laws in International Business and Trade Law.
With over 22 years' experience, including a more than a decade in Malaysia. Tania has acted on some of the most significant and complex litigation in Malaysia (including 1Malaysia Development Berhad - 1MDB), Asia Pacific, Europe and in the United States.
In criminal matters the cases have ranged from money laundering, civil forfeiture, corruption, white collar, extradition, organised crime, human trafficking, drug trafficking, drug possession and murder.
In civil litigation, corporate, regulatory compliance, immigration, intellectual property and entertainment law. Tania has acted for mulitnational and international corporations, governments and high net worth individuals.
Tania's clients also include international and multinational companies seeking regulatory advice, in particular on sanctions law, cryptocurrency and blockchain and because of Tania's vast experience in defending drug offenders, her practice has expanded to advising on cannabis law and the regulatory framework of hemp-derived CBD products .
In her spare time, Tania enjoys spending time with her children, playing golf and holidaying in Italy.
